I’m 4’ 11” very short, and I work in the mall.
I wear a size 5 my feet are very small. I think it’s mostly because I’ve become accustomed to cramming my feet into my abnormally small Cole Haan loafers.
Quick Update:
Number 1: I really need to click it down, which means get my shit together or I’m going to fail my math class, and I’m NOT going to retake a math class. I’m very tempted to ask these elderly people tutoring these kids next to me for help. They seem nice and have soothing elderly voices that I like. Plus they actually know about factoring, logarithms, and useless math stuff that I need to know now, but will never actually use in real life.
Number 2: I’m almost over the moon excited for the royal wedding. I almost wish I had friends so I could throw a royal wedding party at 2 a.m. in the morning. Hopefully William and Kate will be married by 6 a.m. because that’s when I need to be at work. I can’t wait for her dress and I can’t wait for NBC’s royal wedding special on Wednesday.
Number 3: Various other things consuming my life make me feel super busy, which then makes me feel like I’m an important person. Videos for the channel, summer break right around the corner, drinking endless amounts of water, ombre hair, contemplating purchasing Rodarte for Target slip dress, and bike rides every morning.
So many things so little time.

Ruffle top and black shorts $1 each from Salvation Army, bedazzled jacket $1 from Goodwill, silver flats $9.98 from a shoe store in Phoenix.
I’m not sure if it’s the sun or what, but recently I’ve been very tired. Yesterday I took a 2 hour nap and I haven’t done that in months. It’s so hot outside it almost ridiculous. Thank goodness school is winding down because I’m not sure how much more I can take of my nonsense classes. Fefer’s going to work on a new intro tonight. I’m excited, she has big ideas and I can’t wait to see the finished product. As for me, I might go for a bike ride when the sun goes down, but seeing as I’m having trouble keeping my eyes open, I probably won’t.

Thank you very much, such a compliment.

As always I went to the mall to visit Fefer. I was actually trying to work on a project for our visual display class but, I wasn’t able to take pictures in Barney’s. I picked up 2 pairs of shorts from H&M both from the Conscious Collection and a pair of sunglasses for Fefer. I was bored driving home so I decided to take pictures while driving. I wouldn’t recommend doing this if you’re not a super careful driver like myself. Styled 3 looks for a video were doing early in the morning, due to our different work schedules. It’s been a long day of learning how to build a brand and another grueling math test. With all that said, I think it’s time for bed.
Goodnight

Thrifted lace cardigan $1 from Goodwill, Michael Kors layered tank $1.79 from Last Chance, brown belt .99 cents from Goodwill, orange shorts $4.95 from Last Chance.

The detail on this cardigan(or that’s what I’m calling it) is really beautiful. It’s such a feminine lace, with tiny beads sewn on all over it.

Probably my favorite belt, I wear it all the time, and I love these new orange shorts. They’re comfy and long enough to wear to work.

Never really noticed how cool this wind chime is that my mom made.

The sun was setting and the palm trees reminded me of beautiful California.

Lately i’ve been getting a lot of inspiration from the Arizona Republic’s Fashion & Style column. It comes out every Friday and I like how they use a lot of clothes from H&M.

My beautiful son Jim, I wish he wasn’t so dirty so I could hold him.

Another cool wind chime my mom made.
I spent most of my night at the mall, more specifically Forever 21. I tried on trousers and shorts, but ended up buying 2 bandeau tops for Fefer. I must say I actually like the bandeau tops and might buy one for myself. I spent the rest of the night watching Parenthood with my mom. Now I’m just waiting for Fefer to get off of work.

Fefer likes taking pictures of the sun

I like taking pictures of street signs

Fefer and I went to the Art Walk on Thursday. I really enjoyed it and was surprised by how much art I actually liked. We didn’t visit many galleries, and I didn’t take any pictures of art because I’m not sure if you’re allowed to. We ended up missing the last trolley and had to walk home. It was only a two mile walk, and thank goodness Fefer wasn’t wearing her Litas. I will definitely go again, since I’m looking to invest in a nice piece of art. However, I’m not to sure I’ll be able to find something I like for less than $9,000.

I went to Nordstrom tonight and they didn’t have these shoes. But that’s a good thing, because if they had them, I would have bought them. And then, I would have been pissed at myself for spending 100 dollars on one pair of shoes. Maybe I’ll be super lucky and find a pair at Last Chance.
Art walk tomorrow with Fefer, hopefully the weather is better so we can ride our bikes.

I love taking pictures of signs, the street names in my neighborhood have pretty names.

Thrifted top, bag, & shorts, bracelet from L.A.
I’m very proud of Fefer, she’s really the only person I’m ever proud of. I’m happy she has a new job, but now what am I supposed to do while she works? I tried going on a bike ride, that didn’t work, I had nobody to talk to, nobody to play POS house with. I came home tried to figure out what to do with myself and ended up going to the mall to see her.
It’s not that I can’t be alone, it’s that I’m so used to being with my other half at all times of the day, that I wasn’t sure how to function on my own. Maybe tomorrow I’ll go on another bike ride and try joining the gang of homeless bikers. But then again, maybe I not.

All day, Everyday
Crystal Castles, Untrust Us
Yes we certainly can. We’ve been wanting to do one for a while but I wasn’t sure people would be interested. Thanks for reminding me!

Fefer recently introduced me to lo-fi music, this is her take on what were calling lo-fi photography. I like it, it just works.
Thrifted top, shorts, and belt, bracelet from L.A., shoes from a store in Phoenix.
Today while filming a video, Fefer realized someone had torn the Chrysler logo off her car. Great now people are going to think we drive a Daewoo.

The details: H&M jacket, top from Last Chance. Love the gold detail on this jacket, the moment it went on sale, I knew I had to have it. I’ve been wanting it since last year, plus it cost me next to nothing, I though it would be a nice addition to my wardrobe.

Sitting on the dock at Tempe Town Lake, it was so nice outside

POS bike my kick stand doesn’t work

I’m in dire need of a hair cut, hopefully my hairdresser is feeling better so I can get my hair cut some time this week.

First Friday

Like L.A., Phoenix has different districts, except ours all suck.

We got lost finding First Friday, I thought Fefer knew where it was, but of course she didn’t. After walking up and down Van Buren, probably getting mistaken for hookers, we found a Circle K and asked for directions.

Thrifted top, photo taken by Fefer. I told her I didn’t want my picture taken but Fefer does what she wants, and I just happened to like this picture.

Last nights details, I was channeling Elin Kling. I’ve noticed she takes some awkward pictures like this, so I decided to as well. Thrifted top from Goodwill, thrifted bag from the Salvation Army, thrifted scarf from Tiedemann’s, and my CamelBak water bottle. I’ve recently stopped drinking soda, which means my CamelBak goes everywhere with me.

Love me a good camera, I told Fefer to get a picture, and she took this, I wanted something more Tomy Ton-ish.

Some store I thought it looked cool

There was a band playing non stop and I really mean they never stopped it just kept going but it was actually really good.

Blowing fire, I don’t know what you call these people that do tricks with fire, but they were pretty entertaining.
I had very high expectations for First Friday, as I do for everything else in life. Did it meet my expectations? No. I would say it fell slightly below my expectations, but overall I had a good time. There wasn’t as much art as I thought there would be, and the street vendors were selling overpriced stuff I could get at the flea market. I would say a majority of people weren’t there for art, it was mostly young kids rebelling against false labeling on hair products and they were really annoying. Would I go again? Maybe if I’m off the first Friday of May but if I do go I would probably visit more galleries.
